FireflySci Spectrophotometer Calibration Kits Discount
/Hi all you FireflySci fans!
Today I'd like to talk about something that not many people know about regarding our spectrophotometer calibration standards.
Now everybody knows that FireflySci manufactures the highest grade, NIST traceable calibration standards in the world. Our lab is also fully ISO 17025 accredited, but accomplishments aside we offer many advantages on why we are the best spectrophotometer calibration company around.
Why is FireflySci so Different?
Now I'm going to go off on a tangent here, so please forgive me. Anyone who reads our website knows that we are not your run of the mill type of company. We like to joke around, get to know our customers, and just be contributing members of the scientific community.
Our goal is to educate our customers so they can make the best choices when they buy their spectroscopy products. Whether this is from us or someone else is not up to us, but we feel really good knowing that we helped contribute to helping researchers make the most educated choice.
FireflySci Solid Standards
Now let's jump back to the matter at hand, spectrophotometer calibration standards. Many people have upgraded to our solid-state calibration standards because they do not require calibration due to material aging. All our solid filters are coated with a special coating to lock in the original materials of the glass, but truth be told when a solid filter is cared for properly, then there is no need for re-calibration.
Basic care is really your best friend as with anything else you own. It just takes a little bit of TLC and maintenance to keep your standards running as well as the day you got them.
You may be thinking by now, "Hey! I thought this was an article about discounted pricing," ok so let's get to that now.
First, I wanted to throw up some price comparisons. Which of the following sounds like a better deal to you?
Option A:
FUV Filter - $899 for one filter
Buuuut, if you decide to buy a NIST 2031 kit, you can get a sweet discount.
Option B:
FUV Filter - $792 each for 3 filters and a blank.
This is the beautiful pricing you get when you buy the kit rather than an individual filter. That's over $300 in savings. You get 3 high-grade FUV filters (0.04, 0.5 & 1) and a black aluminum blank.
Discounts On All FireflySci Spectrophotometer Calibration Kits
This doesn't just apply to our FUV filters, but HF, FNIR, and Superband filters as well. Let's take a quick look at superband kit vs. individual filter pricing.
An individual Superband filter costs $1,799, were-as the kit pricing costs $950 each. That is a tremendous amount of savings! The Superband filters cover an expansive transmission range of 200-3,000 nm, which gives you UV, VIS, and NIR coverage! Sorry for all the exclamation points, I just get very excited over these filters.
Here are links to the above kits so you can check them out for yourself.
Here's to your success!
